In 1984, Margaret Fischer, former Municipal University of Omaha Regent (1965-1968), was interviewed by Paul Borge for Reflections in Time. The interview was held at the Margaret Fischer law office in the First National Bank Building in Downtown Omaha. Margaret Fischer was born in Omaha NE.  She graduated (1924) from Central High School in Omaha. Ms. Fischer received a B.A. (1928) in Art and a J.D. (1929) from the University of Omaha.  She was a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, the Omaha Bar Association, the Omaha Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Trustees (1964-1982) of Dana College in Blair, NE.  Margaret Fischer was selected by the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chancellor's Commission of the Status of Women as the 2011 UNO Legendary Woman.
